Well, I do update the comic on a MWF shedule, so you can expect updates on those weekdays (there is one today ^_^ )
Unluckily, I don't get online on the weekends as much as I'd like, (or at all, really) so I'm sorry if I don't get to your posts as soon as I'd like too.
Also, I basically got the idea from using emoticons in various forums. 
Plus, the simple expressions of the emoticons went perfectly with the 'absolutely simplistic' style I was going for when I started the strip. I kinda was trying to proove that just because something is simple, doesn't mean it has to suck.
