    RE: Adventure #1

*watches as the cloaked girl walks in the bar*

...*continues to drink his beer in silence*

    "Pedicabo ego vos et irrumabo"
I will f*** you in the ass and mouth
    Catullus, XVI

Things do sound more profound in Latin...

    RE: Adventure #1

*notices the cloaked woman walk into the tavern*
Looks like she's been in a fight. Don't think maybe she's got something to do with what the farmer wants us out there for, do you?
*he glances over to where she's sitting for a second, looks at her dirty clothes and dishevelled look then turns back to the others, sipping his beer*
If she is, we might save ourselves some trouble by taking care of things here.
What's the point of a hero with no one to save?

    Le sigh

    *sips his beer*

Could be... you suggest we go there and greet her ?

    RE: Adventure #1

*Smiles warmly as the bartender takes her order, then removes her hood and plays with the ends of her dripping hair while she waits*

I treat you so nice, hair, and you do this to me! This! *she shakes her hair for a moment then notices the young sir whom earlier had been playing the harp staring in her direction*

Ehehehe *she laughs nervously and slips into the dark part of the table, where she glares right back at him*
...My wings were just so tasty.

Well, so far as I know, the farmer never said exactly why he need our help. She could be thing they need help against, or might be one of them, or something completely different. I say one of us goes over and finds out as much as they can, without getting her suspicions up.
*drinks some more of his beer*
Buying her another drink wouldn't hurt either.

    *finishes his pint*

I suppose you should go there... I think I could scare her off with my bloody scythe on my back and unholy symbols...

Plus if she's a holy person, you might try and do things by yourself.
    *finishes his drink*
Not saying that you couldn't handle her, but we're a team for the time being, you know?
*stands up and goes over to the bar where he orders another beer for himself, and another round of whatever the cloked girl had ordered*
*he walked over to her, placing her drink down beside her current drink, and his on the other side of the table*
*he took a spare chair from another table and sat down opposite her*
Looks like you've gotten yourself into a fight, there.

*She looks up at the strange man and smiles*
A fight? Yeah, I guess you could call it that. That damn rain is out to get me.
*She looks down to the drink* I'd noticed your friend with the harp looking at me funny, May I ask why?
*She reaches for the drink and taps the top of the glass once, then looks back up to him* It's not poisoned, is it?
...My wings were just so tasty.

    RE: Adventure #1

    *waves his hand wistfully*
It's only poisoned if you ordered poison. And if you did, I'd have to wonder why you did such a thing.
We could always swap drinks if you don't trust me, though.
*he took a sip of his beer both to drink, and to show that his drink at least, was not poisoned*
And don't mind my friend over there, he was merely captive to you sway of your beauty, and I can't say I blame him.

    RE: Adventure #1

If it was poisoned, I would have told you, your effort had been wasted. I won't go into details though. And it's hardly beauty to be coverd in mud. But I thank you for your compliment. Now what can I do for you, kind sir?

*She smiles again, downs the drink, then lifts her gun strap off her shoulders, and lays the shotgun on the table.
...My wings were just so tasty.

*looks at the shotgun, raises an eyebrow then looks back at the girl*
Well, I was wondering what someone such as yourself *looked back down to the gun* is doing in a village like this, full of farmers and a few big city guards.

    RE: Adventure #1

I'm just a drifter. I'm not allowed back where I came from, so I just kinda wander about. Do my own thing.
*she nods to the table from where the man came from*
    What about you guys?
...My wings were just so tasty.

    RE: Adventure #1

We've each got our own story, but for the most part we're either drifts, or on long term quests. At the moment we're being hired by farmers to help them with some problem they're having. I don't suppose you'd know anything about it, would you?
    *sips his beer*

    RE: Adventure #1

*after a long cry, Piri steps over to his desk and begins to write in his journel* I found out today what happened to my parents, inspite of the anger, theres a bit of relief in knowing...*sighs* I saw several warriors entering the town today, Perhaps we do stand a chance against these wolves! But what of that child, he hasn't aged a day in 30 years... I know he's not human and his ageing may be slower, but in all this time he hasn't show any signs of age...

*stands up from his Journal and picks up his hoe in the corner of the room*"in the meantime, I'll train..." *steps out into the rain and begans swinging his Hoe about with considerably more skill than a farmer should have. Within 30 seconds, you can no longer see Piri's arms or his hoe, only rain stopping in midair*

    RE: Adventure #1

I'm afraid not. I was out on the hill earlier and noticed your one companion playing a harp. Other then that, I don't know anything. Sorry I can't help you, and thank you for the beer...What's your name?
...My wings were just so tasty.
