dude, I feel the same way.  life's a bitch, but you keep hoping something good will happen, even if you do **** it up and the good turns to **** with a bow.

    What keeps me alive?...

...Well  i'd have to say family but the main reason would be my X-girlfriend,   i see her almost every day....  i know that she still likes me.... and i still like her...  every time she comes over.. she tries to do something about me with me.... my mom says shes not the kinda girl i should be going out with or hanging around....  i dont believe her..  i beleive ......  that my x is the silver coating of my life...  every time she goes out with some one else...  something goes wrong and i get the feed back...  thats all i'd like to say....

If you both still like each other, how come she's your ex?

I'm not finished with life yet, more or less the only situation under which I'd kill myself would be if I got Alzhiemers or something similar, my body going I could take, but not my mind

    Bah...

Reasons why I don't end it all now:

    1. I am scared of death.

    2. I am scared of pain.

    3. Suicide is a weak way out of your troubles in my opinion.

    4. People that (seem to) care about me would feel bad (or at least I think they would). And even though they'd soon forget me I still can't do that to them.

    5. I know that depression is only temporary. If you wait a while you'll feel better and forget all about your thoughts about suicide. (though you remember them the next time you feel bad )

Not really...some people never get over it. They then need medicine and extensive counseling to learn to live with it.. .

But thank god for those 5 lines..

Why Im still living? Because I wanna learn Aikido off course! Cant do that when Im dead... Because there's not much other I really care about. I know for a fact that my family would not really miss me. As for my friends...they still have other friends. So they would be okay after a while. Also dying might dissapoint my Sensei, I mean after teaching me so much I would litterly throw it all away...thats pretty mean to him and my Sempai. But all in all...Im only alive Because I want to be

*fujin that would be to you, sir*

    #1 I agree.

#2 I have a sensitive allergy towards it.

#3 It may not feel like it at times, but that is correct

#4 Only by your perspective do you think we care about you. We "Know" we care about you, and would be sad to see MARKie disappear.

#5 You do have a point.

RE: What drives you to stay alive?

I can only agree with #4 in my case.

Sadly, I have to be constantly reminded that people care about me...

    Thanks Kuro...

RE: What drives you to stay alive?

Currently losing all my (little) will to stay alive... dammit, I wish the waterfall incident had killed me, so that I wouldn't have to worry about choosing a day and a time and my final words before dying... I think I'll do it next week... maybe on Monday (not this 5/24th Monday, the next one)... it seems nothing more in my life can please me anymore... I'm totally joyless... and the only thing that could make me happy is unattainable... so I don't agree with any of those 5 lines...

...BTW, is a 20-meter-tall building tall enough for dying due to a fall ?

RE: What drives you to stay alive?

It's not silly moping, I really am considering suicide... again... I guess it's typical of my depression crisis... they all take me one step closer to actually doing it...

suicide is the easy way out of life. Its the chickens way out. Living requireds bravery and courage.
