Well i'm not all that eager to read about Drow, they are all about S&M and all that sorta stuff which turns my stomach. After all I *am* a Gnome.

Yeah I figured Dwarves would take all the fun out of sex, they take it out of just about everything else, Durngrim and Battleragers excluded.

I bet Elves have interesting ceremonies and stuff like that, interesting yet tedious and boring... Halflings i figure are much like humans in their sexcapades.

First off elves:

Elf Pregnancy and Childbirth
Elves have the longest pregnancy known to humanoids: 24 months (that's 2 years folks). However, pregnancy is a sacred and harmonius time between mother and child, as the two bond on an almost psychic level. Childbirth is gentle and easy but elven women tend to be fragile and wait another five years before trying to have another child. For some reason, they can only crossbreed with humans (aside form other magical beings). Scholars believe that humans and elves were once one race

Some biologists argue that most all humans are bisexual too.  The theory is theres a line 100% heterosexual, 100% homosexual and everything in between.  And they say most of the population falls between 60% heterosexual, and 60% homosexual. 

Im not sure whether I buy into it, but theres really no way to tell.

Interesting theory, I've heard of it too. The thing is there is no way to prove it because of how people develop through society and how that it pushes most people to be heterosexual. I suspect it's reasonably accurate but there's no real way to prove it (that I know of).

BoEF on Halflings/Hobbits

Community is central to life in halfling society. Love and acceptance flourish. Sexual sharing is a manifestation of community and fellow feeliing among adults. They frequently have sex with people they merely like., whose company they enjoy ot who seem to need the solace that intimate physical contact offers. Most nonhalflings, who might view halflings as being merely "cute", are astonished to witness the incredible diversity of halfling sex and the enthusiasm with which they engage in it. However, halflings are cautious about having sex outside their species, since they realise that their philosophies are not widely shared among other races.

Sex is much like a party, with the more the merrier. They honor the universal sexual taboos. Societal, consensual adult sex with anyone, even family members as closely related as first cousins, is acceptable. Exposed to a variety of cultures during their nomadic travels, halflings take to new sexual techniques readily, incorperating them into their vast repertoire.

Homosexuality is fairly common, although there is a lesser percentage of bisexuals in a given community than the human average. Halflings tend toward a given sexual preference and usually stick to it. Halflings reach sexual maturity between 18-25years, often culminating in a massive party in which the youth is set up with a willing partner, chosen by the rest of the clan.

Pregnany and Childbirth
Halflings have the same gestation times as humans and undergo similiar conditions. Mothers are active up to the last two months before retiring to the care of the community. However, due to the nomadic nature of most clans, mothers are expected to keep up the best they can before moving to the safety of their covered wagons.

Halflings while possibly the result of crossbreeding with humans in the distant past, are now unable to sucessfully cross-breed with most other humaniod species.*

Births are considered tiumes of festivity, with many parties and celebrations conducted in honor of the mother and the continuation of the clan. Multiple births are as common as they are in humans, twins and triplets are adored and dotted on by the rest of the clan.

Centuars as noted in BoEF

Centuars live in tribes that are simliar to herds of horses. Centuars undergo a period of heat, lasting three months or so, in whch they experiance intense sexual feelings. Centuras reach sexual maturity at the age of 10years, at which time they are forced to find a mate outside the herd. Mating can be rough and tender, with young males buckingand wooing potentaial mates with displays of physical prowess.

Pregnancy and Birth
Pregnant females are active up to a week before the birth, before retreating to a secluded glen or cave in order to give birth. A small contingent of elder females accompany and protect the mother at this time, spending most of their time driving males away, who become agitated and nervous due to the mother's hormones. Multiple births are rare and such children are noted for possessing strange powers, becoming clerics or divingers, receiving whispered bits of wiosdom from their deities or the natural world around them.
