In a message I was going to post, I wanted to include an image, which I would comment on. Then I found out that the new forum format does not seem to allow this. The old forum had a simple button that would open a window into which you would type the image's url, and voila, the picture would appear wherever you positioned it in your post. Am I correct that this is impossible in the new forum? What kind of "upgrade" is this supposed to be?
P.S. I hate the new emoticons. None of them looks particularly happy. Maybe bemused, at best. The old forum had several in different stages of happiness, including a very funny one where the smiling head was upside-down. None of them looks particulary upset, either, so I can't put an "angry" icon here.
