Uhhh, not to sound too much like a mamby-pamby... why not try to look at the Canada-half-full aspect.
I do agree that Quebec is pretty bad... any province that came within 2% of separating from Canada licks. And they didn't even want a full separation! They wanted our currency, healthcare... it was like the teenager or whatever that wants to be their own man... so rents their bedroom in their parents house. If you wanna leave, leave!
But, for the rest:
SK: has some good wheat... ooh and Dog River! From which we get Corner Gas
BC: we rule, nuff said. great weather, our premier was arrested for drunk driving, and wicked ski hills
ON: without Toronto, what else could we make fun of? Quebec is just too easy and we should leave the Newfies alone... Tee dot... sheesh... stupidest nickname ever!
NF: ahhh the Newfies, ummm, they were the only province that was its own country? That's something!
NS: good salmon, great music
NB: the only officially bi-lingual province
PEI: taters and anne of green gables, 2 great exports
AB: I'll wait to see who takes over from Klein before I add my 2-cents
NWT/NUNAVUT: dogsled races and potential untapped oil
YK: just because you don't know much about the Yukon doesn't mean it sucks. Without the Klondike, most of BC wouldn't have been settled, like Victoria one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. And without the Gold Rush, BC could've ended up American... And who'd want that?
After my ranting, there is a lot about Quebec to like, too: poutine!
That's all I got. So, I don't think any one province is worse than the others, but I love BC.
