Ryvaken sighed. "I'll go with you, but only if you drop this Tal`Draco nonsense."

"Deal. We should leave soon so we'd better make this our last drink"

Ben placed down another 2 gold peices, making a total of 22 he'd spent in the bar. The bar-keep hoped it wouldnt be his last. He liked it when people spent lots of money

As the two finished their talk, a slightly drunken bartender wandered over to them holding two glasses of beer. He then took a seat next to the cat-like figure and passed him a drink.

“My niece over there, would you like her? I’ll lend her to you for a nice price,” The man pointed behind the counter. Krista was busy with another customer and didn’t notice the action from her uncle.

“You could have her to, my good faerie,” It was obvious that the man had been drinking; his actions were slower than expected which caused a near miss at Ryvaken’s head as the man retracted his arm.

Ryvaken finished his drink. All in all he'd spent three silver bits. On the other hand, he hadn't had even a full shot.

He looked over at the man. "Excuse me?"

Ben leaned over to the bartender

"Your saying youd degrade your Neice for a few gold peices?"

“What’s a little love between customers, besides; this place could use the money” The bartender took another gulp from his drink, sat back into the chair, and pointed again towards his niece.

“Though you’ll have to wait for that man to finish with her,” A large man was holding Krista by the arm while she struggled to break free.

“Let go!” Krista was able to break free of the man’s grip after sending a well placed knee into his groin. The man took the blow for a moment but took hold of Krista’s arm again before she could run.

“I’m going to get what I paid for!” The man began to drag Krista to the stairs; past the table of Ryv, Ben, and the bartender. Krista struggled, but couldn’t break the man’s grip.

Ryvaken jumped up onto the counter from his sitting position (which was sitting on a tiny stool on the bar). By the time his feet hit the ground, he had bow in hand and a green-fletched arrow drawn on it, pointed at the man's head. "You have one chance to let her go before your brains decorate the wall."

The man stared at the tiny faerie, taking a moment to realize he was being threatened before letting go of Krista and raising a foot to stomp on the small foe.

“Don go threatening me!...” The man's shouting attracted attention from others sitting at the counter.

Ryvaken let fly the arrow. The tiny needle flashed through the air at the man's shoulder. By the time it hit, it had grown to a full-sized arrow and embedded itself in his foot, basically destroying the bones and tendons inside it.

Ryvaken had another arrow, again bearing a green fletch, pulled and re-aimed at his head. His expression betrayed no passion. "You've lost the use of your foot. No reason to lose your life, too."

The man howled as the first arrow pierced his foot. His fellow men were able to rush to his aid very quickly for drunkards; even finding a few bottles to fight with.

The now disabled man sent a fist down at the faerie, enraged over the pain in his foot and unable to hinder the wisdom spoken to him.
