Star Wars: The Sea of Sand

This RP will take place on Tatooine a few months after Order 66.  Therefore, I am limiting the number of jedi to 2.  Blood Sorceror has reserved the first slot, but the other is open.  Keep in mind, there are some (scoundrel) great classes (scoundrel) that offer alot of (scoundrel) great abilities (scoundrel).

That would be a step by step character generator.  Its pretty good stuff.  If you have any questions, PM me, talk to me online (Fisk225) or e-mail me.

I have a good idea for the second jedi...

There are a lot of different options for that character generator, which ones should we choose when making our characters?

Ah well then I don't have a concept, oh well.

Re: Star Wars: The Sea of Sand

oh yea, my bad.  Sorry kori, we're using the point buy system.  32 point buy.  You shouldn't have to change much though.

To make it easier for everyone, go to planetadnd.com and get yourself a profile.  It has a character sheet template for DnD, but its pretty easy to convert.  Here's an example:    http://www.planetadnd.com/3eprofiler/view.php?id=5441

make your character publicly viewable there, and post a link to it.

        thanks.

That site confuses me. I went to find a place to sign up like you said, but I could not find it. I went straight to planetadnd.com, but could not find anything with signing up or the sheets.

Yeah I couldn't find what you had there either... so I did this...

        Page One

        Page Two

I will update with a full physical discription and some background info once I have finished fleshing it out.

Geeze, drop enough hints? See I'm playing a scoundrel!

Re: Star Wars: The Sea of Sand

Did you want me to fill out one of those sheets too or is the one I made good enough?

Oh yes, I agree. The rogue class and all of it's variations have always been my favorite.

I sent you a pm there are things that must be discused...

I filled one out anyway, here it is.

Oh, and there is something wrong with that sheets' skill rank calculation. It says I used 46 points but I counted them several times, with and without a calculator and it is 40 points dead on.

Re: Star Wars: The Sea of Sand

make the sheet publicly viewable.  no one but you can read it otherwise.  when that's done, I'll take a look at it.

I couldn't read the other sheets, so yay for new one.

also, everyone should read the prestige classes section.  there are some great prestige classes, and you don't want to have to wait an extra level because the requirements involve 8ranks in hide and you put in 7.

Re: Star Wars: The Sea of Sand

Here's the background and character discription as well as the (working) link to the character sheet.

There are three words the describe Manx Blingo: cocky, cunning, and brash. Manx has always been an impetuous Twi’lek, trusting only in his gut instincts and the almost palpable aura of luck that seems to follow him wherever he goes.

He had a tough childhood, an orphaned child growing up on the streets of Nar Shaddaa is fighting against incredible odds; it’s a good thing then that Manx learned to play the odds at an early age. The quick witted and charismatic child took up work running small time errands and on world delivery runs for the Hutts. He managed to gain their favor and as he grew older he moved on to bigger and better jobs for the Hutts as well as many other unsavory characters living on and around Nar Shaddaa.

At the age of sixteen he was hired onto a smuggler ship; the captain soon recognized Manx’s natural piloting ability and had him fly the ship more and more often. Allowing Manx plenty of practice while the captain spent most of his time dosed with spice. As time went by Manx’s skill grew and grew, he was half the age of most smugglers and already twice the pilot.

Things where going well for him, that is until the ship was taken by Jabba the Hutt and the captain fed to his Rancor when he found that he had pocketed a portion of the spice that was to be delivered to Jabba.

Manx, now out of a job finds himself in a peculiar situation. Stranded on Tatooine with out a job or a ship, although the thought of working for this particularly vile Hutt doesn’t sit well with him the thought had crossed his mind. For now Manx is content spending his time in cantinas gambling credits from passing spacers.

Manx Blingo has a spry, slender frame; he has a confident, nimble swagger. His skin is brilliant violet darkening to nearly black at his lekku which are covered in intricate deep red tattoos, most of which are symbols of luck and good fortune. He is quick to flash a smile, his rich amethyst eyes sparkle with cunning, good natured or not. He dresses in black boots and pants, with a navy blue shirt and a black jacket.

nice.  Anyone who wants to do a detailed backstory (which is a good thing), just stick it in the other notes section of your character sheet or here.

alrighty.  no one else seems interested, so we'll probably start soon.  I have a friend who is interested and has made a character, but has no account for this forum.  If he gets off his lazy but and makes one, we'll have a fourth.  If not, enjoy your trio of two jedi and a scoundrel.

Re: Star Wars: The Sea of Sand

Well I suppose others can join later in the game should they find it interesting once things get rolling.

And yes... I think it is obvious which prestige class I will be gunning for.

Also I was wondering, where you planning on actually useing the rules from the book and all that, I mean are we going to be actually rolling dice? Or more likily you will be rolling dice for us and what not since there isn't a die roller on this forum anymore?
