I have a month to go before my classes start... and only 4-5 more credits to go to graduate. Big Smile [:D]

I take it by the Big Smile [:D] that's not all that many credits to get now, right?

Tis winter over here, more or less. We've had some rain but not enough so its water restrictions again this summer. Uni is in full swing - Management of the Security Function has me wading through the tiers of the judicial system. What a cure for insomnia that is.

Yay!!! SUMMER!!! Finally it's the summer holidays over here. I just got out of school, so it's Year 10 next year and the start of some serious exams. We only had a maths exam this year and that was easy. But at least it's the holidays now. A time for rest, relaxation, and 40 degree Celcius heat. Brilliant! (not)Tongue Tied The heat is killing me!

Have lots of ice cream. At least winter is rather mild here. It has been the warmest year on record in the UK.

I thought that was last year! I got a sunburn when I visited! Surprise First time that ever happened... that I can remember.
The only problem with the ice cream is that it melts faster than I can eat it, even though I'm not slow with it.Wink

    Re: Summer!

Get a wide bowl and eat the ice cream over it. Then you can lick all the drippings up!

It's a good way of keeping all the ice cream from dripping onto you and messing up your clothes.

Fair enough, it might stain. Especially the chocolate! Smile

Chocolate stains are a pain to get out of clothing. They'll stay there for a long time.

    Re: Summer!

If you soak the clothes immediately in cold water, the stain should not have time to set. But chocolate, like most protein stains, is notoriously difficult to shift.

Problem is when you're eating outside and have no cold water around. Even if there is cold water available would anyone really want to take their top off in public?

Well I certainly hope to visit the beach at some point... problem is I've no idea where I would go for a decent beach now that I live in Austin... Back in California it was like a fifteen-twenty minute drive to the Pacific... Maybe I will have to get a bunch of sand and water and make my own...
