Re: BG2: SoA / ToB mods

you know... it's very hard do disagree with that statement... Big Smile [:D]

one thing's for sure, there's no point in playing any of the 2 Evil paladin classes in TDD, since you don't get to wield 'The holy Avenger'

here's a bit of Rant after playing a while with Valen:
She's really cool and fun to play with, really
    but:
Sometimes you feel like she is too strong... I mean, I just took down Firkraag by letting him hit her while the rest simply massed him... while she was hitting him still, she level-drained him, thus weakening him... after that, when she got close to 0 hp, she turned into her gaseous form (since she can't be ressurected when she die, she got that form she turns into, where she is immune to all attacks, and regenerates more rapidly (Like any other vampire)) thing is, while he was hitting her, she didn't regenerate, but was still immune to taking dmg... so she didn't die, and he didn't attack anyone else... I practicly had an immortal decoy

with a bit of fire-res gear, she was also immune to her one weakness... fun? for a bit, then you get bored of it... totally worth trying tho, it was fun as well as different, but not something you'd want all the time

Darn, I can see where that is a BIG problem.  Clearly these mods need some work sometimes.   Perhaps with a few more mods to Valen, she could be both a really fun and different character while also being challenging

Re: BG2: SoA / ToB mods

I allways got annoyed at the portrait of Kelsey, so I gave it a try to make it stick out less, and look a little more like the regular BG2 portraits...
first comes the standard, then the one I edited... did I succeed?

Wow you turned the sorcerer into a street-tuff Surprise [:O]

Or one of Mad Mal's errant fireballs just blasted him

haha, ye I was affraid of that, but then again... ever imagined someone crawling in dungeons with a smooth face and no dirt or ash from the dungeon, a torch or spells such as fireball or whatsoever?

EDIT: I may be able to fix him back into a sorc, if I add some light to the entire picture...
also, I just HAD to remove his "Paris Hilton nose"
