Zell runs towards Flash, leaps into the air, and lands a devastating kick on the back of one Fat Body.  He then  raises his hands into the air and a bolt of lightning shoots down onto the second Fat Body.  "Come on, kid!  You've got a staff!  Use it!"  Zell's hand starts to glow yellow and he touches Flash's staff.  He then disappears into the fray again.

[Flash has learned Thunder]

Rinoa quickly casts Cure on Blade and she feels her strength returning.  The heartless circle her and she can hear distant voices chanting "keyblade....keyblade....keyblade...."  Several heartless leap at her-

-to be shot out of the air by an unseen force.  Blade turns to see a man standing on the roof of the accessory shop.  He is clad in a red coat and holding a shotgun.  Cid sees him as well.  "Vincent!  Where the &$*% did you come from?!"  Vincent pushes his hair out of his eyes and leaps down next to Blade.  He stares at her, and it feels as if he is peeling off layers of your flesh to stare straight at your soul.  Then he turns and shoots at all the heartless surrounding him, turns back to Blade, nods, and then rushes into the middle of the fray.  Something then leaps over Maple's head and joins Vincent.  It appears to be a large red wolf.  "Nanaki?!"  exclaims Cid.  "What the *$^% is going on?  Haven't seen you guys in forever!"  The wolf doesn't speak either, just continues to destroy heartless after heartless.

Flash looks at the staff.
"Thunder?"

His staff glows a little.

"Hm I wonder how this thing works...? Abra cadbra?"

Nothing happens

"Damn Thunder!"

And it begins to glow again.

"Oh... ummm"

He waves his staff.

"Thunder!"

And shoots a thunder bolt at a small group of heartless.

 

After her leg been healed and her strength returned, then the strange appearance of Vincent, Blade turned from the group and places her hand over her heart. Something about that vincent guy had done something to her, made her more powerful... or vunerable. Seeing the wolf, Blade faces the heartless once more and walks into the crowd of them, with no weapons, no sheilds and no idea what she was doing.

Blade is instantly set upon by a score of heartless.  One soldier heartless slashes her along the stomach, leaving a wide gash.  From across the battlefield, Vincent suddenly transforms into a giant, hulking beast.  He tears into the heartless, wiping out ten at a time with each sweep of his massive arms.  The few remaining heartless quickly flee.  Vincent reverts to his origional form, casts Cure on Blade, and then leans very close to her.  "Never draw strength from the Three again unless it is absolutely necessary."  With that, he turns and walks swiftly away.

 

(quick note.  When Blade made her weapon rematerialize in her hand, Rain felt a small bit of his strength leave him.  Too little to really take as more than simple battle fatigue, though)

Blade smirked and called out to Vincent "But it was worth it, at least the heartless are gone for now, that has to count for something" and with that Blade seeing he wasn't interested in what she was saying she walked off to find some food and drink. Even though she had been healed, where she had been hurt was still a little painful.

Rain stopped and looked around.  "Whoa, they are all gone now."  Rain looks around actually noticeing how many people that were in that one area.  "Wow, heh where did all of these other people come from?"  Rain said to Zell and asking everyone in general.

Maple opened her eyes and looked at Rain. She had been quivering under her sheild for the whole time iwht her eyes closed. "M-my village got d-destroyed by THOSE things..." Maple said, trembling. After pausing for a second she finally asked "And I have another question to add onto the first one; what are those things?"
