Fuck religion ! The worse thing is the way people see us atheists as either lunatics or Devil worshippers... considering how childish and fantasious (is that a word ?) most religions are, I consider Atheism to be the most sensible option. Come on, believing in Jesus is like believing in Santa.

Leprechauns make more sense than any deity. Think about it. Leprechauns are little short people who wear green and have lots of money. Deities are magical, all-powerful beings that can do anything and everything, but don't for reasons that are never explained. Now, I believe in short people. Do you?

Short people aren't a matter of belief... they exist ! Some are rich and some wear green. And some do both. I don't believe on short people, though... some of them are liars. Oh, crap, I have gone off topic again. *goes back into topic* But, really, if there actually is a so-called god, who garantees he's just like people preach he is ? He could be a fricking giant CORNCOBB at the center of universe that condemns whoever eats corns to go to the cornhell, where they are tortured with corns !!! Is that absurd and totally ridiculous ? Yes, completely. Is that fakier than Christianism or any other religion ? No, it is not. Wait... it was this affirmation that made people at my school mad at me... they got really pissed off with me comparing their all-powerful god with a giant corncobb...

i am relaxed.
anyway, yes, i am an atheist too, and not just some kid pretending to dislike god because it's the hip thing to do, or because he wants to be different, i have evaluated all religions out there, tried a few, and i'm sure of my beliefs, i have come to debates in school, (the corn thing was funny, and i have been called a satanist quite a few times(just because i wear an AC/DC T-shirt, doesn't mean i worshipp satan!) what people really need nowadays is information, and freewill, most of the religious people out there were religuously-imposed(?) as childs, and never got the option of questioning themselves or what they preached, my parents are atheists too, so they gave me the right to make a choice.
by the way, i love my parents

What, you're parents are atheists ?! Lucky bastard ! Everybody in my family is a believer... my mother is too, but she doesn't care (much) about it. When I was little she didn't give much attention to me choosing a religion, so I could open my eyes. I've only been to a church like 3 or so times in my life. And once I came out of the church running because it was an evangelic one ("Give your hands to each other and let's praise the Lord", ack). The problem is the parents that believe in God. Because if they are believers, then they won't want their offspring to go to hell or the limbo, or whatever, so since very early ages, the kids are brainwashed to follow the same religion as their parents. And the earlier you start loving your imaginary friend called God, the harded it is to break the chains.

Then stop whore tagging people at the drop of a hat.
The point of my silly post was that we humans lack objective means for discerning anything about a God if there is one, so we'd be better off focusing on life's fleeting joys. (Like webcomics)
For clarity sake, I'll push down my sig. * * * *

I guess I dozed off and missed the part where in the newly ressurected webcomic.net forums you can't have banners in your signature any more. I'm doing just fine thanks.
I can see why the other webcartoonists who used to post here don't any more.

Quote- Fuck religion ! The worse thing is the way people see us atheists as either lunatics or Devil worshippers... considering how childish and fantasious (is that a word ?) most religions are, I consider Atheism to be the most sensible option. Come on, believing in Jesus is like believing in Santa. end quote- I find this rather humorous in juxtaposition with your beliefs that Christians are religously intolerant and can't accept you for what you believe or not believe. Quote- Leprechauns make more sense than any deity. Think about it. Leprechauns are little short people who wear green and have lots of money. Deities are magical, all-powerful beings that can do anything and everything, but don't for reasons that are never explained. end Quote- Yay! Sarcasm! Deities are typically not all-powerful. Most of the religions dealing with one or more gods see them as powerful, but not immortal. They can be killed, and often represent an elemental force or human trait. God, on the other hand, isn't remotely magical, and is an explanation for, you know, reality. He is all powerful, and all knowing, and if he chooses not to interfere with the mortal world, well... that's his choice. If you want him back the old way, genocides for the civilizations that sin out of control, then prepare, cause it'll take more than a flood to wipe us out this time. Quote- But, really, if there actually is a so-called god, who garantees he's just like people preach he is ? He could be a fricking giant CORNCOBB at the center of universe that condemns whoever eats corns to go to the cornhell, where they are tortured with corns !!! Is that absurd and totally ridiculous ? Yes, completely. Is that fakier than Christianism or any other religion ? No, it is not. End Quote- Actually, it is "fakier" than christian mythology, as there are no documents ceding it, (besides this forum) explains nothing, and has no followers. (that I know of)

Of course I am intolerant. Well not to point of trying to convert people to atheism or killing others for religion. But it's a ridiculous thought that people kill each other, destroy stuff and even blow their own fucking bodies up for "Holy causes" !!! To waste your life for a imaginary God or a imaginary savior is just stupid ! If someone is gonna kill for something than do it for a decent cause, not a stupid thing like religion. And about the corn thingy... so ? I'm saying it is more true than Christianism, I am just saying that it has just the same odds of being true, considering nobody ever saw or talked to god.

People have seen or talked to god in the bible. Sure, you can say the bible is untrue, but I can just as easily say that evolution is stupid 'cause I don't like "the origin of species" and Darwin is a dumbhead so there nyah! Why don't you believe in God? What drives you away from him? Cite credible proof for his non-existence and I'll concede the point.
