    Ok, you got me.  I've been a bit stressed out and trying to relax a bit, spending less time on the pc.  I'll try and polish this off this weekend.

    OK, I found the problem, somehow you got some formatting into your post

    This is what the HTML code shows

    <SPAN class=Apple-style-span style="FONT-SIZE: 13px; FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma">[</SPAN><SPAN class=Apple-style-span style="FONT-SIZE: 13px; FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma">programrandom=diceA1] Ogg | Rat| whatever| again [/programrandom]&nbsp;</SPAN>

    All that span stuff prevents it from working.  I'm not sure exactly what causes that stuff to show up though...  Maybe copying and pasting the brackets?

    Well, I could run the forums in plain text mode - but then I can't include a return character in my posts.  I'm now trying copying that last post to a plain text editor and back:

    Do you not have an HTML button from your view?  If you have an html button, you can see when there is gibberish apple span tags going around your code and remove them.  Also, does that stuff show up when you type the brackets []  or are you copying and pasting from somewhere else?

    I'm mostly copying and pasting from the browser itself, then editing in new info.  I see an HTML button, but it brings up a window with just this in it:  

    {$lang_theme_code_wordwrap}{$lang_theme_code_wordwrap}{$lang_theme_code_wordwrap}{$lang_theme_code_wordwrap}

    And I don't know what to make of that.  Should I experement with pressing the buttons?

    For the "again" above, I typed in the code one time.  For the other ones that didn't work, I typed in the first one and then copy/pasted the others.  It's strandt that even the first one didn't work.
