    yea, i'm having the same problem, and i just upgraded to latest version of firefox and now it won't let me into ur main site...

    I have had no luck with firefox or explorer. I think this same thing happened last month as well.

    Probably a server or script issue going on, and not browser related.

    Doesn't work in IE either. It isn't just a Firefox issue.

    FWIW, not in Opera either.

    And it's been like that for at least 6 hours...

    (Does this happen often? I only joined this weekend.)

    It's usually a database connection issue.

    This doesn't happen that often, but when it does happen it takes a little bit to resolve the issue. Poor Richard :/

    The membership database for twc is the CommunityServer DLLs from webcomic.net and for whatever reason, changes to an old connection string randomly which no longer works.  Eventually I need to rip it out and install the latest version of this site's dlls into TWC to presumably break whatever bit of old code thats there, I just haven't had time.

     

    Anyways thanks everyone, it takes 2 seconds to fix btw, but I took a new programming position that has been consuming all of my time so I don't get these messages until I get home from work. :(

    This had been happening randomly before, but in the last few weeks or so, it seems like it's happening every time somebody tries to vote for my site. I hope the problem is fixed soon...
